Hump Day Mix, Preseason week: 3
To celebrate Hump day midway through the 2010 preseason, Arn and I have decided to do a random question and answer session to kick off some discussion. Now this is totally random...lol! We both hope all of you enjoy the major eye candy!!!
Q: What to expect in this Saturday’s game?
Webslasher81: I feel that the Broncos are in for a treat, even though Ryan Clark will be sidelined the defense comes up big against Quinn/Tebow experiment. Our rushing attack against The Broncos will be headed by a spinning top Mendenhall and destroyer of worlds Redman, that one/two combo is too much for their d-line. Our receivers come up big Brown and Wallace will still continue to impress (as well as REDMAN lol) Sanders might see more PT this game and take advantage of the situation. DD still looks amazing as he blazes both the d-line and the secondary with his quick wit and moxy!
PixburghArn: They're in for a treat alright. I think Kyle Orton wants to forget the last time we rolled into Denver. This time they won't have Brandon Marshall either. The Broncos might want to rest Tebow another week or those bruised ribs may end up BBQ'd. I'm looking for a few big plays by our secondary. I'm predicting Kennan Lewis picks one off. You will also see Emmanuel Sanders come up big and lead a receivers. I am guessing Vincent will get a heavy load. If this happens it will be Vincent getting his last look. Not last meaning final, but last before the first cuts. I really want to see Timmons get one of those runaway train blitzes and decleat a QB. That's always fun
Q: Predict Steelers MVP (offensive & defensive) for the game?
Webslasher81: Offense: Split between DD (16/22 217 yards 1 TD thrown, 4 scrambles for 47 yards and 1 TD) & Brown (via punt return of 63 yards, and 6 catches 107 yards and 1 TD) Defense: Timmons ( 6 tackles 2 t.f.l. 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery)
PixburghArn: I was thinking more for the whole year but I will go with a game MVP for this game. Wow this is hard for a preseason game. I'm going with Sanders on offense (4 catches 109 yards 1 TD) and defense I'll go with Kennan Lewis (1 INT 3 PD 3 Tackles) I will even throw in a possible TD.
Q: Predict Steelers (offensive & defensive) rookie of the year?
Webslasher81: Brown on offense, and on defense Worilds
PixburghArn: Brown on offense and Sylvester on defense (I'm waaaaaaaaay out on the limb, because he prolly won't play much)
Q: Which country (in your own opinion) has the most beautiful women?
Webslasher81: SWEDEN 5 reasons: (Been there done that! Boo-yaa!)
via atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com
PixburghArn: Latin America baby. They dominate Miss Universe and they are H O T as the Amazon jungle.
Miss Universe 2010 from Mexico:
Miss Universe 2009 from Venezuela:
Miss Universe 2008 from Venezuela:
via www.nbc.com
Miss Universe 2006 from Puerto Rico: Speaking of Venezuela I have to give them props I could fill this page with beauties from there:
AND FINALLY...
via journalstone.com
Arn:I think I want to take a trip there to see if this is true. Anyone want to go with me?
Web: You bet I do...I already bought a ticket!(And to say the least that you beat me on this round of beautiful women part 1! d'oh!!!)
Q: Best Individual NFL cheerleader?
Webslasher81: I don't know who they are but there in MAXIM, I would have to say now that I am a fan of the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders (or at least them!)
via cdn4.faniq.com
PixburghArn: Redskins as a team of course, but it's hard to choose one. After studying the candidates for hours, I can't make up my mind so I'll go with this one.
Q: Point counter point on Tiger’s divorce?
Webslasher81: Tiger is better off, but his wallet will suffer. Maybe next time he will think with his other head. (I guess I really don't have any other comments on Ze Tiger "sheeee toooooy!" a, little Robin Williams humor there...lol!)
PixburghArn: Tiger could have bought a prettier woman than Elin and came out cheaper. I don't care what Tiger did, that chick doesn't deserve that much money. This entitlement crap as gone too far. I believe she should be compensated and he should pay for the raising of the kids, but you can't live off of say 10 million? The only reason it's like that is because of the high profile nature and media frenzy. In all seriousness the losers in all of this are the kids. Money comes and goes, but the things that happened in all of this will affect these kids for life. Kids these days have enough to overcome. This is a case of the man trying the black man down. Just kidding, so don't shout me down.

Enjoyed the Q & A
Great way to discuss upcoming games…do you think you will be able to maintain this and do it during the season?
I also think some of our younger players will shine this week It seems that Brown and Sanders gain more confidence each week. Keenan looks more comfortable back there than he has, hoping he does get the INT Arn. I hate that Clark can’t play, but it does give Mundy another chance to show if he what it takes to make the team. Hoping for a win!!!
Things can always be worse....
I believe Arn and I could possibly do this every week...their is still a lot to be discussed about football and swimsuit hotties!

Rookies of the year
Offense: Maurkice Pouncey, also the overall rookie of the year for the Steelers. This kid has me convinced after Saturday
Defense: Sly, I see him being a good ST guy. I don’t think any rookies will get serious snaps on D this year.
MVPs against the broncos? Offense: Mendenhall, I think this is the game he gets in some good runs and breaks away from that 1.0 or whatever average. Defense: Harrison, I think he will put up 2 sacks and a FF and maybe a tackle or two for a loss.
"I'm from Maryland, and no one can beat me!"
Pouncey seems about right
Sylvester seems like a good choice but it is early days still. I could see any of the 3 rookie LBs making it though Worilds is getting a slower start. You never know how Butler will finish the year either.

Game MVP
Def – Crezdon Butler

Team MVP
Def – Troy P (In the words of Herm Edwards…hello!?)
Off – Mike Wallace
And so it was written.

As opposing quarterbacks crouched under center, Lambert pumped his legs up and down, thumping the turf like a war drum. He mouthed threats to opposing running backs that would make even the most hardened Catholic nun weep for humanity. He fulfilled those threats with coldblooded suplex tackles. He may or may not have chain-smoked at halftime, depending on who you ask.
For sixty minutes each Sunday, Jack Lambert was a demon.
