Pittsburgh Steelers Escape Week 1 With 15-9 Win Over Pesky Falcons Squad

I'm off to go write, but for now, a fresh thread to celebrate the Pittsburgh Steelers' 15-9 victory in overtime over the Atlanta Falcons. Rashard Mendenhall ended the game with his 50 yard burst on the Steelers' first play in overtime. We'll get to the particulars of what unfolded - the play of Dennis Dixon, a standout performance by the defense, the injuries sustained by Casey Hampton and Max Starks, and much more.

Survival. All that matters in the NFL. 1-0!

Go Steelers!
