Under Goodell’s new player conduct policy and very rational line of thinking… These allegations should be enough to get the Jets entire team suspended…

Accusations of sexual assault, and accusations of sexual harassment (which might be an exaggeration of what happened) are clearly different things.
I’m begining to wonder if just because people have dismissed the allegations against Ben as flatly untrue, they’re completely forgetting how serious the alleged crime is, in terms of the spectrum of crimes.
Sexual assault is bad people, hitting on a hot chick is not the same thing as allegedly sexual assaulting one.
I have not yet begun to procrastinate.
Obviously, accusation of sexual assault is more serious than accusation of harassment. But at the end of the day it was only an accusation…
And right now...

Your point is that Ben was suspended on accusations alone. Which is true.
You feel like the Jets should also be suspended on allegations alone. Okay, point taken.
My point is that the two seperate accusations are not even close to the same severity of alleged crimes, and the reactions to each should not be equal.

Was that Ben shouldn’t have been suspended on allegations alone, in which case I partly agree.
But he wasn’t suspended on allegations alone, he was suspended for being a part of something that brought a bad light on the league… twice.
He was accused of something he was already in trouble for. If the Jets had already been accused of sexual harassment of reporters once, and the same players were involved in this, not only wouild you have a point, I would support it.

This is true...
From what she said in an interview (about two minutes worth of one at least) was that when she walked into the locker room there was a lot of “look at her” and “oh my” going on. If that constitutes sexual harassament, then it was sexual harassment.
I’m not going to dismiss her account of the story, if she was wronged, as she says she was, it is serious and it should be addressed. I think the team is already trying to work something out, in terms of interviewing players, coaches, etc. trying to find out the details of the incident.

What’s done is done.
Ben getting suspended will work out for us.
Example: He was sent back to Earth and realized that his ego was taking control of his life.
Ben has said himself that the “Big Ben” personality was getting out of control. He’ll be more mature, responsible and better when he comes back.
You can’t suspend the entire team because it wouldn’t make sense. Those who didn’t do jack would have to suffer because this happened.
Besides, the chick said that she accepted the Jet’s apology. Case closed. End of story.
