You Heard It Here First
Well, folks, we knew it all along, but now we've got proof, in writing:
"You wish you had 50 guys like him," Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said. "You'd have no problems as a coach."
And who, you may ask, is Arians referring to? None other than Tight End Heath Miller. Although to be honest, I wouldn't quibble with having 50 guys as hardworking, humble, and handsome as Heath. (It's a great day for alliteration, apparently.)
But in all seriousness, check out the whole article here. It's a great tribute to a great under-the-radar Steeler. All hail to Heath! And for the ladies among us, here's a picture to brighten your day:

The definition of Steeler...
Quiet, not flashy, uber talented and trying to get better every day.
We are truly lucky to have a player like Heath.
I have not yet begun to procrastinate.
I didn't think
anybody knew about that…

I think we’ve underestimated Arians. 11 TE’s isn’t enough. He wants the whole roster, presumably with the exception of a P, K, and LS.

I'm pretty sure Harrison would make a good TE
At the snap rather than block his man, he’d longsnap him into the river
I'm getting tired of saying this: Dick LeBeau’s system is so complex very few rookies can make an impact.
You mean he'd cut...
a good option at blitz pickup?

Good point,
except that I’m not sure who the LS snaps to in your scenario…

This is how a true pro should act:
You have a better chance of the sun dying out before seeing Heath do an end zone dance," Steelers left tackle Max Starks said.
"Successful destination is the pinnacle, make no mistake, but the fun is in the journey." - Tim Gleason
I'd like to see him not dance
at least 10 times this year. he is a pro bowl caliber player stuck in the Gates / Gonzales era.

I took Heath Miller as my back up TE last night in a fantasy draft. He is one of the few Steelers I like.
U love the Steelers - All of them. We all know it.
I wasn’t pleased because we didn’t win - Mike Tomlin (after the 2009 week 2 loss to Chicago).
Mmmmm...

He is the consumate pro
Goes out and will bust his tail for you, produce on the field, keep his nose clean off the field, and not seek any credit or hype for what he does. He does his job and is happy with that.

Not holding my breath...
Because how many years have we heard “We are going to try and give the TE more looks this year.”
Not since Eric Green have they actually DONE what they say.
Pffft…when it happens I’ll believe it.
that
broke eric greens team record didn’t it

Depends...
If you mean # of receptions, then I stand corrected…Green had 63 in 1993….BUT he had 900+ yards.
I still like Miller better, but it sure didn’t seem like he was getting that many last year.
Hard to see past a “loss” and look for the silver lining. For me anyway.
And I don’t play fantasy football lol
Miller
isn’t much of a down field threat, he is a possession guy. Thats all you need your TE to be. they might have gone to Eric greene more, and Heath still has more receptions because heath drops maybe 1 or 2 passes per season. So you may be right here, if they passed to him as much as they did eric green Miller might have 90 -100 catches.

Rec'd
Heath is the epitome if class, and an amazing individual and football player. He deserves it.
This is Pittsburgh Steeler Troy Polamalu getting knocked around by the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii yesterday...
Minutes later, Troy caught the ocean going over the middle and smacked it right in the mouth. The ocean fumbled, Troy recovered and ran it into the endzone. The ocean never messed with Troy again.
Agreed...and my theory is....
They wanted to send a message to BB.
What better way to do this than elect a team captain that is the polar opposite of BB.
Heath
has all the looks anyone could ask for. Oh wait, you mean, like throw him the ball – a splendid idea at that. I think I’ve only ever seen him miss it once.

great stuff momma
I actually thought the same thing when I read it in the Trib this morning. 50 TEs? Arians going for World Domination!
But seriously, what a great guy he is. I love the guy (no homo, hi malor), he is everything a true professional should be.
World domination...and ONE BILLION DOLLARS!

alright… let’s duscuss! love the word ‘verklempt’… still trying to figure out if it has anything to do with the German word ‘verklemmt’, but that wouldn’t make any sense in your context.

awesome
in Germany, everyone’s complaining how the English language is taking over single words, but then when I tell them it’s normal and the same in the US with German words (Kindergarten, kaputt, etc) nobody believes me. Thanks for another example :)
The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don’t just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.

exactly
my point was that in a world that is becoming more and more interconnected, in which corporations cannot call only one country their home and a global marketspace emerges, no one language can defend it’s purity anymore, nor should it. Unfortunately, that’s still done in Germany… to a degree that can be pretty annoying.
On a side note, do you know the word for cell phones in Germany? ‘Handy’. An English word, but nothing close to what Great Britain (Mobile Phone) or the US (Cell Phone) calls their portable phones. Now that is something weird… but I digress.
No.
It was Verne Troyer…Said it was copyright infringement, unlawful use of his image, or something…

In 4 fantasy leagues and now have Heath in 2 of them and Wallace in 3 of them. Wallace is going to beast it up this year.
I've got Heath and Mikey, AND
dum dum dum Redman. When I made that pick, the other people in my league conceded the season, and dissolved the league. Or at least I think that noise I heard was weeping…

My man Heath!
He is so damn good and the best part is he doesnt even care. So glad that he is down to earth and even happier that he is a steeler. I think Heath will be huge for Dixon the first couple of games.

Thanks for the pic momma! :-) Maybe when I retire my old #51 jersey, as I’m sure I’ll have to pretty soon, I’ll have to pick up a #83. I think one of the things I scream most at the TV during games is THROW IT TO HEATH!!!
