Help me update the Mike Wallace highlight video
Last season, I started watching the Steelers play in the National Football League. Maybe because of his fro'hawk. Maybe it was that he played along side Michael Oher during college (I'm a bandwagon fan from the book, not the movie, thanks) . Either way, I was impressed with the little mup Mike Wallace. With Michael's help (Blitz not Oher), I created a highlight reel (featured here on BTSC) that is doing astoundingly well on the YouTubes. I wanna make another, and think I'll find the time sometime after they WIN THE SUPER BOWL.
What song should I use this time around? Black and Yellow by Whiz Kalif is an obvious (but pretty terrible) choice. I'm liking Power by Kanye.
What music should I use this time around? Also, what catches from #17 must we include?

YO!
This is my girlfriend’s fanpost in case you couldn’t tell. So help her out! And by the way, she tells the truth. Her YouTube video has done sick this past year. Over 35k views and if you search for Mike Wallace on YouTube, lo and behold, that’s the first thing you’ll see. We’re ready to do a new version of the video but we’re looking for some help! Cheers!

How 'bout trying something old school
from Earth, Wind & Fire? Something like:

or

Please dont use Black And Yellow
I have always liked the song “Put On” by Young Jeezy for a football montage. I have always wanted to edit a video but don’t have access to footage nor the patience to edit it. From last season you need to include his catches from his monster game against Green Bay and I’m pretty sure he had a long bomb against Miami in the season finale.
You can pretty much go down the line this year and pick big catches from every game. He had so many great catches this year. Pro bowl snub for sure. I’d love to see him outshine Santonio on Sunday. Do you mind me asking where you acquired all of those clips?
And I didn't mean to snub Wiz
He is awesome but I think Black and Yellow has been a little played out. The dude has put out much better tracks IMO.

Gotta us the circus catch from the Bucs game
There are so many, but here’s one you can’t leave out: when Wallace catches a TD bomb from Batch that literally bounces off the hands of the Buc defender. I picked it as one of the most memorable plays of 2010.
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81ad52f3/Wallace-gets-TD-off-tipped-pass
In the Oakland game, Wallace caught a short slant and turned it into a long TD in which he just blows by the defenders. I don’t have a link for that, but it deserves to be in your remix, too.
Then there’s the 56 yard bomb from Ben to Wallace on the first play from scrimmage in the 1st quarter of the last Browns game (week 16).
LOTS of material for the highlight reel this year, for sure. Hopefully he’ll add to it this weekend against the Jets.
sure is
We’ve got our work cut out for us making the up to date version.

Love the video, great work.
But can someone, anyone, PLEASE make a good Steelers mix with some rock ‘n’ roll songs? FFS!
Not everyone likes the hip-hop scene…I know, shock right? Doesn’t even have to be rock, just prefer actual instruments and singers!

hehe...
Good point. I’ll do SOME video with some rock; since Wallace is her favorite player, and she’s not the biggest fan of rock, I doubt we’ll see any in her next video. But i’ll get your back!
Love the name btw…

Not bad...
would this be for any random steeler video or specifically for Troy?

Neat choice, COSF, but if it's Afro-beat you want, it's gotta be Fela
Manu Dibango, eh? If we’re thinking of going Afro-Beat, though, I think I’ve got one better.
Fela Kuti’s “Let’s Start.”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zWRjgathjA&playnext=1&list=PLA3940D7A08DB197E&index=4How ’bout that?

You chose Nigeria
I chose Cameroon. Both men were important in bringing African music to North America. I think Dibango was instrumental in bringing Afro-Funk into being.
I notice both men have collaborated. I suspect there is more info available in French about Manu than in English. Certainly there seems to be more on his wiki page.

I've got a few Manu Dibango CDs myself
And Negropolitaines Vol 1 is one of my all time favorites… I just “dig” Fela a bit more. It’s all good stuff, though.
Indestructible by Disturbed
I would love to see this one… but i guess it would be best suited for Big Ben
YES YES YES!
If you did make a vid with that song I would click on it 1 million times!
