8 Ball, Corner Pocket... We Got 'Em Where We Want 'Em!
Jets are way behind the 8 ball... Steelers just have to EXECUTE.

We're down to the final hours and our last chance to telepathically transmit suggestions to the Steeler coaches and players - well we can wish can't we?
LIke the picture above, it will take a combination shot of offensive & defensive maneuvers. I have a feeling LeBeau is goint to have a Stellar Strategy up his sleeve for the championship outing.
Here's what I feel are the key points to bring home the Lamarr Hunt Championship Trophy this year;
Most importantly - Defense and more Defense.
1) Sanchez needs to hear footsteps from his first offensive series
2) Jets WRs & Slots need to feel the presence of our coverage - translated... play up close & personal and hit them at the snap
3) Stunt & Blitz... Early & often. Once Dad has established our intent, the thought alone will stain Sanchez's pants - and that will be a most effective pass defense
4) Harrison, Woodley, Farrior, Ziggy & Troy should take turns (rock - paper - scissors perhaps) showing Sanchez the finer points of Heinz Field turf. When Rex Ryan thinks he's figured it out, then Timmons, Clark, Taylor, Keisel & Hampton can have some fun.
5) Ike, B-Mac, Gay and Clark need to wear their best track shoes and keep telling Santonio Holmes how much the Steelers miss him - as a tackling/blocking dummy. If our boys challenge Edwards at snap, he'll get stumbled up and be less effective as the Steeler D-Line comes barreling down on Sanchez.
Offensively - Do the Unexpected when Least Expected.
1) Arians needs to throw away his routine order and play the current situation (if it worked last week or last we met the Jets, use something else) - let Ben take some control & listen to suggestions from Batch. Try spread it and run... just have some fun!
2) Use Wallace, Ward and Randle El as decoys - Miller, Brown & Sanders as staples.... Redman and Mendy "Have Hands Will Catch & Travel". Again, when Rex thinks he has it sorted out... OMG, how did Wallace get there?
3) Run Mendy, Run Isacc, Mewelde & Ben (On Comet, On Cupid, On Donner & Blitzen). The Jets D will either come after Ben or they won't - either way our run game should play and a healthy dose of "Play Action", "Screens" and "Bootlegs for Ben" should be unexpected and work well.
4) Ben needs to settle for short under passes & checkdowns and wait-it-out for the Big One... and get rid of the ball one tick sooner Big Guy if you can feel Kemo's Karma.
Some of this has been mentioned before... let's put in all in one place.
What do yinz think?

Not just footsteps, my friend, I wan’t to see him on his ass.

I'm calling it right now.
24-10 Steelers. The Dirty is sacked five times, and is seen wondering around the stadium afterwards looking for his mommy.
Haters gon' hate.
He wasn't sacked once last time
I don’t know why people are expecting our pass rush to get to Sanchize any more this game than last time . . . it’s still the same OLine we’re up against! The way we win this game (and we will) is by covering their receivers and stopping them on 3rd down.
our first game vs the Ravens
their Oline did a great job in handling the pressure. I think we ended up with no sacks in that game. Move onto later in the year and last week, we beat those guys with pressure and get sacks, knockdowns, and turnovers.
What Im tryin to say is you cant expect to beat LeBeau’s Defense twice. He is the best in the game.
"Franco made that play because he never quit on the play. He kept running, he kept hustling. Good things happen to people who hustle."
True
I hope you’re right, but even if not, we still win because we won’t make the same mental mistakes we did last time.

Allright... turn on the Disco Lights !!
I can’t wait to sing this to the Jets fans tonight (ala Donna Summers);
Dim all the lights in New York
Cause it’s Steelers all the way…
Turn up the old Victrola
Pittsburgh dance the night away !
The Burgh - Been there, played the game, have the gameshirt.
