When comes down to how I am going to breakdown the game, I'm not going to use any stats, or the advance BLA (Best Looking Available) metric that Momma came up with last off-season. No I shall be using that most awesome name stat.
Now you may be asking what is the most awesome name stat, it's simple, it is a stat that I came up with to measure how awesome a players name is. A case in point would be Barktavious Mingo, former competitor in the Name of the Year tournament and current LB at LSU, he would get a 10 out of 10 for pure awesomeness. So without further adieu lets get to the awesome names.
First off your Pittsburgh Steelers
Chris Kemoeatu, 8/10. It would be a 10 if he went by his real first name Uikelotu.
Doug Legursky, 9/10. Even if he did go by his first name of Wayne, I don't see this getting to a 10. But that last name is very strong.
Ben Roethlisberger, 7/10. Now if it was a difficulty to spell contest it would be a 10. Also does anyone else feel like they have a lisp when they say his name.
Crezdon Butler, 7/10. That is a first name that has to be said everytime you see him.
Stevenson Sylvester 8/10. Anytime you have two last names, your parents should really rethink what they were going to name you.
Now the Green Bay Packers
Bryan Bulaga, 8/10. That is a name that only a Lineman could have.
Evan Dietrich-Smith, 7/10. This name could be better, but still solid.
Atari Bigby, 8/10. Dude is name after a gaming device, need I say more
Josh Gordy, 7/10. Solid name, could be better but not bad.
Frank Zombo, 9/10. That is a great name. When your last name sounds like a cheesy comic book villain name, you have a great last name.
Steelers 39/50
Packers 39/50
The score is tied, which means we have to have a tie break. For that it means we have to go to all-time most awesome name for both teams.
The Steelers are brining out the big gun for this.
Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala 10/10. I need no words for the Awesomness of this name.
But the Packers respond with a blast from the past
Ray Nitschke 9/10. While it is an awesome name, it lacks something when compared to Fu. It could be the fact that it is much easier to pronounce than Fuamati-Ma'afala.
So their you have it, based on the best names from the two teams the Steelers will win 31-24.
