Brett Greenwood out of coma...asks about Steelers!

The following report is GREAT! Ex-Steeler Brett Greenwood awoke after being in a coma for over a month. The poor guy probably wanted to know about the Raven's game & we're playing the Jags. Here's hoping he makes a full recovery!

Former Iowa Hawkeye Football player Brett Greenwood is awake, standing, and talking after falling into a coma lasting more than a month, according to KWWL affiliate KWQC in the Quad Cities.

Greenwood's high school football coach at Pleasant Valley received an email originating from Greenwood's mother, saying Brett was awake asking nurses about the Pittsburgh Steelers game.

Greenwood was treated at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics before being transferred to a special facility in Ankeny.
