Mike Wallace Watch: NFL's Most Dangerous Deep Threat Makes Most of Two Receptions in Steelers Week 6 Win
Another week, another big play touchdown from Mike Wallace. The Steelers top receiving threat had just two receptions in Pittsburgh's 17-13 win over Jacksonville, but he certainly made the most of them. Wallace had a 28-yard touchdown catch that gave the Steelers a 14-0 lead, and then his second catch, a 48-yarder in the second quarter, marked the fifth consecutive game that the third-year wide receiver has registered a catch of 40 or more yards.
Wallace's numbers have tapered off the last couple of weeks, but he's still producing big plays each week for the Steelers and well on pace for an incredible statistical season.

Wallace
We need to feed him the ball more because he’s so dangerous when he gets out in the open. Mike Wallace was open at least two more times that deep that game, Ben just missed him
What I wanna know is...
Where is he in the 2nd half of games lately?
he got his long
TD against the Titans in the fourth quarter.
He was wide open on the two passes that Ben overthrew him on in the second half of the Jags game. QB has to deliver the ball where the WR has a chance to catch it. Ben was really off in this last game
People don't ever seem to realize that doing what's right is no guarantee against misfortune.

Welker on pace for 2000 yards
it would be pretty improbable that a guy considered a possesion receiver would be the on eto get 2000. I am sure he falls off, but I wonder what the odds at the start of the season were on him leading in yardage.
Any task BIG or small, Do it well or not at all
51 friggin catches already..
damn

Looks like he is trying to get his yards/reception back up. He’s used to around 20 per. :)

I am very impressed with what he has for 32 catches
I still have him between 1,600-1,800.

So did Dallas give the blueprint on how to stop NE?
Just shut out Welker?

and that Hernandez guy. Say what you want, but Rob Ryan has done an excellent job against the Pats.
We just have more confidence in our QB to put the game in his hands at the end of the game than Dallas does. I’m very anxious to see what we can do against them.
I love the Steelers.

I want that and a 4-3 for that game.

hmm maybe make Woodley pass rush ever play like the Cowboys do with Ware? Also have the DL stand up and move around like Rob Ryan did against the Pats in Cleveland and Dallas. Maybe play Ike Taylor on Welker the whole game and really shove him at the line.
Cowboys were in position to win that game if they would have threw the ball on the last drive. We have better players at almost every position. Hopefully Tomlin and Lebeau watch alot of game tape of DAL-NE and CLE-NE

So Woodley would line up at DE and just rush all day?
I like the sound of that.
Plus someone needs to bump Welker’s ass at the line (like Ike).
That's what I am talking about!

I hope we use the blueprint.
What we have been trying to use the last few times hasn’t worked. You would think Ike could shut down Welker.

Love Mike Wallace
Great talent / Hard worker / Humble Guy
TEAM FIRST ATTITUDE.
It's nice how the Steelers quietly drafted and trained one of the best wide receivers in the league yet again.
