What I am looking for is answers! Somehow we went from one of the best run defenses in league history to an average at best run defense. Why? Whats going on? We went from an adequate O-line that had a great year running the ball and gave Ben at least a little time in the pocket to an at best below average O-line. Why? Whats going on?

Was it the lockout?

Is it because we have limited time in pads during the week?

Are we old?

Too young?

Is the FO making terrible mistakes?

Or the dreaded SB loser hangover?

Another subpar year after a SB appearance?

A combination of all these things all added up together?

Did Goodell put some kind of curse on us during the off-season?

Have I not been yelling at the TV enough during games?

Good grief, I haven't seen as many missed tackles by a Steelers defense since.......well, I can't ever remember the amount of missed tackles we are seeing now? If it wasn't for lawyer ball and some boneheaded mistakes by the Texans we would have been blown out for the second time this season.

I have no escuses for our play so far this season. What does Steeler nation think the reasons are for our major fall off from only a year ago? I honestly thought we were the most talented team in the league last year, how have we fallen so far in only one off season?

What does the nation think its gonna take to turn things around? Is there any hope left for our Steelers reaching the playoffs? Winning the SB? Finishing with a winning record?
