We all know that Ben and Coach Arians love to throw it deep. So how successful have they been so far this season with this strategy? Compared to many other NFL teams, the answer appears to be "not so much." Ben has completed only 8 of 18 deep passes with 1 drop so far, placing him near the bottom of NFL QBs. So even if you measure the Steeler offense by its preferred method of attack, it's not very good. All the more reason to diversify our playbook and stop relying so heavily on the long bomb.
