Interview with Leon Searcy

Hey Steelers fans,

Let me first start off, by saying ...BOY! It's been a while since I've been here. I wonder who remembers me... My name is Max Strauss, and I'm a high school senior now... I was here when I was an older sophomore and a young junior. I interview NFL players from all 32 teams, and I'm really passionate about it.

I know I got a bunch of feedback on my interviews with Jon Dwyer or with Alan Faneca. I'm VERY EXCITED that my 100th total interview brings me back to the Steelers. I got great feedback from all of you on all of the interviews I posted, and you didn't seem to mind that I made them FanPosts instead of FanShots!! I received over 200 comments on the Dwyer interview, and I really appreciate that you guys were so awesome!!

Here's some information on Leon Searcy... He entered the 1992 NFL Draft and was drafted in the first round, 11th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in Super Bowl XXX against the Dallas Cowboys, a team that had just as much interest in him during the draft because his former coach, Jimmy Johnson was the Head Coach at Miami. He actually told me in the interview what he thought of Bill Cowher, Rod Woodson, and the Steel City!! Here's a quote from Leon Searcy from the interview! Here is the link to the interview too.. http://prointeviews.org/LeonSearcy

I absolutely loved being a Pittsburgh Steeler. Everything about it. The whole mentality, the whole framework behind just going to work, getting the job done. The city of Pittsburgh has this persona, that is exemplified what type of city it was. It’s the Steel Mills, the hard hat, the lunchpail, it was all about going to work. That was the one thing I loved about being a Pittsburgh Steeler. It was just about work. It was just about getting it done.

Thank you so much for letting me share this in a FanPost. I really hope I get a lot of feedback from all of you again. Thanks so much for being welcoming the other times that I've been here.
