Shoot me or shoot Ben next August when he mentions "no huddle"
What is it? Every preseason Ben is flapping his lips about the "no huddle" offense and how much they were going to use it. Then the season starts and nothing. Wouldn't the NH have been a perfect antidote for the Texans pass rush? Would love to hear your opinions.
Help me how to I add 25 more words to reach the 75 minimum? Let's see, "we will unleash h8ll". How is that? or "Everyone has to put his hand in the pile (and hold his nose with the other)" or "the standard is the standard (even for the kid whoever will be playing LT next week?).

I think it could help
No huddle and quick slant in passes “might” help to negate the sacks we are getting on Ben. It could also help draw penalties because opposition Defenses are looking to sack Ben on every passing play. Anything to stop the blitzes would help. Our guys just don’t seem to know how (or are unable ) to stop the blitzes.
Ben is very productive in no huddle
lack of protection isn’t his fault, but he usually marches right down the field when he is in no huddle…
"The standard is the standard" - Mike Tomlin
sounds like an idea
except now Ben will be limping around so maybe he cant run a fast pace no huddle and like you said they always say its coming but never does
I agree
I agree, but the “GENIUS” of an offensive coordinator we have had a better game plan. They had four quarters to correct and adjust and they didnt. That is pretty bad. I think a high school coach has more plays in his book than Arians. We all see how that worked out.
The other problem Ben has is he is always looking for the 30-40 yard pass consistantly and he doesnt pass enough to his safety/checkoff valves, the short passes, in the flat etc. It’s open and he has to force the 40 yard pass. Also, 3rd and 4 and 3 of the 4 receivers are running a 20 yard pattern. Why?
Watch the patriots and how they pass and spread the ball around. Nice short quick passes, mixing up a long route every once in a while. Steelers are the opposite with an offensive line that cant pass block. Cant work that way when your line cant block. The steeler receivers need short quick routes to help Ben and he NEEDS to get rid of the ball. Not look for Wallace on a 60 yard route every pass down.
No huddle = high reward, high risk
When the defense is on the field for almost the entire first quarter, the offense has to run some clock down.
