I've watched a few replays of the Keisel strip of Brady and Troy coming in to whack the ball toward the end line.  In a couple of the replays a commentator says that it was illegal.  I know that it is for an offensive player to punch a fumbled ball forward, but what about a defensive player?  Was it legal for Troy to do that?  I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere but I can't find it (and I don't do much of that thar twittery stuff) Thanks!
