We coulda won that game. I love hard fought battles against the Ravens. But much prefer them to end with the Steelers winning. Which team do you think won the actual fight on the field? The final score doesn't always reflect the actual game within a game battle between the two teams

The Steelers clearly lost the fight in week one.  But we didn't tap out.

This time we had our guard up when the bell sounded. We fought hard, but maybe we let up a little at the end. The battles between the Ravens and the Steelers are the most physical the NFL has to offer. I expect fines will be leveled this week against a player on each side for head shots. It is a very hard nosed brand of football being played and you gotta have a hard head that's well attached to play it.

With that being said.  Hines Ward,  please seriously consider retiring at the end of the season. I have greatly enjoyed your career. You are the best! Steeler Nation loves you! You can, still do it! Coaches don't send Hines over the middle any more. Have Cotchery do it, not because I want him hurt, he's just younger but still tough like Hines.

I appreciate Hines for all he has done for our team. Including the mentorship he is giving our younger players this year. Maybe come back next year and be the receiver coach to go along with Carnell Lake coaching our DBs. I like the sound of that.

Some folks here at BTSC beleive I am overly optimist about our Pittsburgh Steelers. Even Rebecca Rollett said it in a nice way. I greatly respect her opinion and actually had to look up the word she used. When I did, it meant basically overly optimist. I admit it. I don't apologize for it. That probably isn't going to change. And I hope y'all don't want me to.

I do apologize for sometimes being ugly to people on the other end of the spectrum who I consider overly pessimistic about our team. I will try be nicer to y'all in the future. I guess I have a hard time differentiating between other teams fans who are talking smack and my own team's fans who are voicing their dissatisfaction. I will try to do better.
