People don't ever seem to realize that doing what's right is no guarantee against misfortune.

I'm not going to comment over there, because I dislike their site

But, that is clearly NOT launching. Launching has to be a “violent” use of your body where you shoot yourself at an upward angle into them. Harrison simply steps in and lays a hit. And, when you watch it in full speed it is not violent at all.

If we really slowed down every sack in the NFL and watched them, 50% of them would be illegal if you considered any kind of helmet contact as a foul. I saw at least 4 sacks in yesterday’s games that were easily far worse than this.

And that’s exactly our issue, which goes right over the Browns fan’s heads. I’m not sitting here and pretending like that Harrison hit wasn’t bad. The point is these types of hits happen A LOT. It’s a violent sport played at violent speeds. Maybe in some perfect world where helmets are made of clouds and tag football is actually exciting, this would be avoidable. It’s not. Fans want to see tackle football and that comes with fast moving big bodies. Heads collide a lot and the NFL only “cares” when it’s a QB. Ray Lewis got praised for lowering his helmet and hitting a RB yesterday. James Harrison gets chastised for lowering his helmet and hitting a QB.

Boo hoo. Get over it you cry babies. It’s humorous that your team sucks this bad that you have to go out and look for things to cry about.

Not to add, where is their outcry for Paxson to be suspended after he launched himself at a defenseless QBs legs and nearly ended his season? Oh, right, they don’t give a shit because he is on their team.

You need to understand the psyche of Cleveland fans

Those people are ravaged with hate. I lived there for 12 years, I know first-hand. Their hatred for the Steelers is impossible to articulate. They haven’t won anything since 1964. They are starved beyond belief. They are frustrated at losing over and over again to Pittsburgh. They are insanely jealous of the stable ownership, front office and coaching. They are incapable of recognizing or admitting anything good about Pittsburgh or the Steelers. Most other web sites mention an opposing team whenever they play. Their web site is obsessed at all times with Pittsburgh. I go back and forth between hating them back and feeling sorry for them. They are great and loyal fans, really. They just need serious psychiatric counseling.

I'd say the crap stains are just whining babies but they are worse than that.

They happen to be the team that most often sees the business end of the Steelers’ physical intimidation. That and the talent gap have won a lot of browns games for the Steelers. The browns noticed last year that crying like little bitches had an impact and if they kept it up there’s a chance they’ll get a suspension. It’s probably the hi-light of their season that Harrison was sat and the Steelers lost the next game and missed out on the chance for the #1 seed.

No one has a more vested interest in destroying Steelers Football than the pathetic browns. Frankly, in all seriousness, to me their team is nothing more than the grease in the gears of the Steeler’s dominance of the AFC North. They’re just there to get their asses beat twice a year. I have no remorse or sympathy for anything that happens to their players on the field, and nothing but contempt for their sad, trashy, hate-filled fanbase. I have no pity for them at all because they want to take what’s ours. And they’ll do whatever they can to do it, even cry in front of the rest of the league like little babies and cheerfully watch as the NFL is transformed into a “pansy league”.

"It was an attrition football game and you know we like that."
