Ben Roethlisberger expected to start tomorrow vs. the San Francisco 49ers
Gerry Dulac is reporting that Roethlisberger showed enough in practice on Saturday that the decision to start him was made even before the Baltimore Ravens lost this evening.

I'm pumped
I don’t think the 9ers are all that, 50% ben plus an angry defense equals a W in my book.

It's an intriguing situation for sure.
Might Ben actually be in better shape than we’ve been led to believe? Or is the plan to start Ben and just see how long he can go on the ankle? Mike Tomlin will never tell.
The Conference
is theirs to lose now. You have to do what you can to go and get it. He has to be in better shape than he was in the 2nd half against Cleveland, no?
Can he hurt it worse?
I don’t know enough about it, my assumption is that it’s already/only sprained, he’s not stopping bones from re-fusing or something? Is that close to accurate? Is it basically pain management, or can he actually make it worse by doing stuff?

I am by no means an expert on this, but I think you’re partially right. Since there are no broken bones I think it’s mainly a ligament issue in his ankle from the sprain, since a sprain is just joint ligaments being stretched beyond where they normally go. But that being said, if that ankle gets stepped on or twisted again, it could exacerbate the pain and damage to the already tender ligaments there that are trying to heal and just make things worse.
Monday night
Could we ask for anymore drama? How lucky are we? Does the Ravens loss throw the Steeler handicaps out the window?

ESPN is Tebow, Tebow, child molester, Tebow, child molestor, Tebow, Rodgers, Brady Tebow and people’s opinions of tTebow fans….period….
They don’t give a flying f about the Steelers, Ravens, 9ers, etc…..
Please don’t waste your time worrying about the media’s opinion. Otherwise you end up looking like a whiny bitch, like Malor, Harbaugh, and Flacco….it’s sad….
“boo hoo…the media doesn’t slobber over us…all they like is (insert team, story, player, or any other option that makes their pee pee feel inadequate here) we earned our respect…but blah blah blah blah..
Sorry, not trying to be rude…but that’s their thing…leave it to them.
