headen 4 seven
Here we go Steelers! Here we go!
I am very proud, that our fanbase is remaining upbeat, after that freaky loss on MNF.
Freaky, yeah.....
Lights go out, twice
QB playing on one leg.
Stands half full of Steeler fans at SF.
James Harrison suspended for the game.
Steaker takes the field.
QB comments" where is James Harrison when you need him?" too funny.........sadly BB's best moment of the night.
I am sure it was extra freaky for the fans in attendance. I am glad everyone kept their wits about them. From all appearances the crowd comported themselves with class during what could have become a stessful event.
The game last night showed very little about Pittsburgh chances at a SB appearance. Too much freaky stuff going on to jump to any negative conclusions about the defending AFC Champions. We lost another game on the road, that we were supposed to lose. Nothing new there. This same story has now repeated for 3 of the Steelers 4 losses.
I really wanted this win, I was hoping for a bye in the first round of the playoffs. I guess that is still possible if Baltimore loses at the Bengals. I think Houston would have to lose again as well. Where is mikebb? He could have given us the odds of this happening. I will step out on a limb here with my expert oddsmaking.
Keep this in mind as we are headen 4 seven, we still have a chance at this.
Odds Steelers win out the regular season: > 7%
Odds Steelers win the division: > 7%
Odds Steelers reach the SB: > 7%
Odds Steelers win the SB: > 7%
So don't give up hope, we are still in this thing, a freaky loss at SF on a Monday night. Just means a whole bunch of nothing.
GO STEELERS!!!

C’mon Man!
"He had no teeth, and he was slobbering all over himself. I'm thinking, 'You can have your money back, just get me out of here. Let me go be an accountant." I can't tell you how badly I wanted out of there."
- Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
just didn't feel like it today....
I am usually a little down after a loss. Ya know?

Gotta admire your enthusiasm...
…and I don’t disagree. We’re in the playoffs, where anything can happen. Last night was a “double down” with house money: Win, we get jackpot of #1 seed, lose, we’re no worse off than we were on Saturday (before Ravens loss).
I never give up on people, I never give up on the Steelers (though I reserve the right to gripe now and then).
