Did the Steelers play today?
Oh yeah, just caught the score 27 to 0. Wow. Not bad for a "too old", "too fragile", " woulda got cut" backup QB! I saw a replay where Charlie Batch actually looked like Big Ben for at least one play. Charlie shook off a tackler in the backfield and scrambled out completeing a nicely thrown touch pass to a scrambing receiver. NICE!
Does anyone know when this game is broadcast on NFL Network? I would like to check it out on replay.
We are lookin pretty good going into the playoffs and should win out next week. Ravens beat the Browns today and the Bengals won. I still think the Ravens lose at the Bengals next week and Pittsburgh slides in at #2. If our Pittsburgh Steelers go in as the #5 seed we have proven we can win on the road in the playoffs with many of these same players. So yeah, I am feelin pretty good about the Steelers making a playoff run all the way to the SB again this year.
What did you see that impressed you in the game today, if you got to watch it.
Who was the offensive mvp?
Who was the defenensive mvp?
Young guy stand out?
Old guy stand out? I think I could fill in Mr. Batch here.
Did Bruce A. call a nice game?
Refs suck?
Did James Harrison get in a head butting contest with a Ram?
Did everybody see the replay with Simpson from the Bengals somersaulting some dude and landing on his feet in the endzone for a TD. That has to be #1 play of the week.
I watched some of the Denver game today. To everyone who has been worried about me, because of my slight case of Tebow Fever, that is all cleared up now. He is a terrible passer and I don't see him doing much of anything from here on out in the NFL. At least not as a QB.
headen for seven,
GO STEELERS!!!

'05 was a hell of a run
At that point in time, I didn’t even like the Steelers, but even I had to admit that their defensive stand against the Colts was phenomenal.
Hopefully the Bengals screw up the Ravens season this time; if not PIT, at least it’s a division rival. They want into the playoffs; I hope they find a way to get their that hands the Steelers a division title.

AS MUCH AS I WANT TO SEE THE BUNGLES BEAT THE RAVENS I WONT SEE IT
SH!TTY BUNGLES WILL BE BLACKED OUT AGAIN NEXT WEEK. This city would not sell out an AFC championship game at home (unless it was against the Steelers).
haha thats halarious!
I mean, not for you, but it still kinda is. Stupid Bugnles!

Cortez is a good lookin rookie
I would rather save the superman stuff for the playoffs. Sometimes I think his hair get the best of him and thats where the flying comes in.

Streamed the game
through the laptop hooked up to the HD while making Xmas dinner for the fams, food went everywhere when things went right. Good thing the in-laws are used to my game day antics.
Charlie, don’t write him off yet.
Mendy, running hard. Honorable mentions to Redman and Clay.
BA was meh
shoe goo and duct tape O line deserves mention for performing well above my expectations after Legs went down.
Clark was a heat seeking missil today. Wish that Troy could hold onto the ball this year.
Harrison is the man
Sorry we missed ya the other night Fever.
Happy Holidays everyone, enjoy and be safe.
P.S. Fever, Amanda has her ring now. Yinz almost blew it when we were at the bar ;)

I was kinda hoping the NFL would do us a favor
and flex our game to 4 o clock and leave the bengals game where it is at. After drawing the short stick with the schedule, houston/SF on the road, I thought it would be a nice gesture for the NFL to give us the option of knowing whether to play all out or not.
If the Ravens win, we could treat the browns game like a bye, rest Harrison, Woodley, Troy, Ben, Pouncey, Mendy, Wallace, and give the younger guys more run. So we could get ready for the daunting task that awaits us.
If the Ravens lost, we could go all out play who is able to to play and go for the division title. But no, now both games are on at 4 and there will be millions of fans checking both games at the same time, which is probably what the NFL really wanted.
I love the Steelers.
agree
