Well, it's been a few days since the loss to Green Bay. Amazingly enough, the people at work gave me shit for supporting the Steelers. I just told them to eat their freaking cheese (that's not what I really said, but I've got to stop swearing like a Sailor. lol) and stop talking about it. We lost, let me sulk without the finger pointing and what not. 

Anyway, it's the off-season now. 

Looks like everybody has posted some updates., but I'll help out as well:

It you haven't heard, Hines Ward will be going under the knife for his left knee and left thumb.

Also, we're going to have 20 players on our team without a contract next year. Players like Ike Taylor and LaMarr Woodley.  While Woodley expects us to use the Franchise Tag one him, Taylor and his agent have begun negotiations (which is a good sign). However, due to the Steelers run in the Playoffs, Kevin Colbert has been behind, so don't expect anything to happen...yet.

There are also concerns regarding Arron Smith and Flozel Adams. 

For as good as they are, veterans like defensive end Aaron Smith and tackle Flozell Adams may not be willing to stay in Pittsburgh if asked to take a pay cut.

There have been reports that Adams may retire, and I'd like to have Smith back in the Black and Gold. In fact, I'd like to have both of them back.

The biggest news: Dick LeBeau may retire next week, but he's going to give it some thought. Obviously, the Steelers are hoping he comes back. Here's the story on that.
