So I wake up late this morning and turn on the radio to learn that Washington Redskins nose tackle and all around good citizen Albert Haynesworth turned himself into the police today in connection with a road rage incident in which he has been accused of assaulting a motorist. 

Then I fire up my computer to learn that Washington Redskins punt and kickoff return man Brandon Banks was stabbed in the chest at 315am in a scuffle outside a DC nightclub. Banks was taken to Howard University Hospital and released, but a friend of his was in critical condition at GW Hospital. 

It's off-season, and too often when he hear news about NFL players, it's about bad things. 

Here's hoping the Black and Gold guys keep out of the news - unless it's about their many charitable and community endeavors. Behave yourself guys, and keep away from situations where the actions of others can mess things up for you.
