Steelers Mock draft edition 7

There are a lot of changes in this draft from the last one.

Round 1 Pick 31: Trade along with Round 3 pick 31 and round 7 pick 31 for Round 1 Pick 24 and Round 7 Pick 24

Round 1 Pick 24: Brandon Harris, CB, Miami

Harris is the 3rd best corner in this draft and if he is available at the 24th pick in the draft I don't see why we would not trade up to get him. He won't make it past the Seahawks at 25 so why not take him here.

Round 2 Pick 31: Marcus Cannon, OG, TCU

Cannon is a behemoth guard that has very good agility. He would probably start from day 1 at LG. He is a great run blocker and is also well above average at pass blocking. With Kugler teaching him, he will become a very good LG in this league.

Round 4 Pick 31: Kendrick Ellis, NT, Hampton

We need to find our future NT to replace Casey Hampton in a couple years. Ellis is exactly that. Weighing in at over 340 pounds and running a sub 5.20 40 yard dash he has an incredible combination of size and speed. With two years of development he will be a beast in this league. Many will right him off as a bust after he has a disappointing year or two but then he will come on strong just when we need him when Casey decides to hang up the shoes. If we do draft him, please give him time to develop and don't right him off as a bust so fast.

Round 5 Pick 31: Alex Henry, K, Nebraska

Henry is the best kicker in this draft and I think he will be a great kicker in the NFL. He has a great leg and can kick touch-backs very, very consistently. He is also a very accurate field goal kicker.

Round 6 Pick 31: DeAndre Brown, WR, Southern Miss

I have had us picking Brown in almost every mock I do. He is one of my favorite late round prospects in the draft. At 6'6" and 240 pounds with a 4.45 40 yard dash he has an incredibly rare combination of size and speed and also has great hands. With a year of learning from his greatness Hines Ward, he will emerge as one of the best WR's in the NFL. If I am wrong on this I will give somebody 10 dollars.

Round 7 Pick 24: Chas Henry, P, Florida

If we don't think Sepulveda will recover from his injury we should look to replace him. Henry is the best punter in the draft and we could have the two Henry's as our Kicker and Punter for years to come.
