Talk to ten different Steelers fans, and you will likely get ten different answers as to who we will draft. Will we trade up to bring in a game-changing corner? Or will we go for someone to shore up our offensive line? It's a draft full of corners and tackles, although the players at both positions have flaws...

I think the tackle position is one that we can take care of as late as the third our fourth round. ALL of the first-round prospects have significant weaknesses. Between guys that are straight maulers in the running game yet lack the foot quickness to pass block, and the guys who can protect my dead grandfather for a year in the pocket, but can't drive block on a running play to save their own lives, we are looking at a class that (aside from probably being mostly gone by the time we get to pick) isn't incredibly impressive. The corner class is also insanely deep, but the criticisms coming from all over are very discouraging. I understand that picking up a top flight corner is unlikely, and I would be happy with someone like Smith or Dowling, but still, it's difficult to decide who we should take. Many have us going with a nose guard or an offensive guard. After all, players at those positions should be available to us at the 31st pick. However, I honestly believe that we're pretty solid at guard. How many sacks or holding penalties did we see come from the guards as opposed to John Doe being at tackle by the end of the season? My personal opinion is that we should take a corner (the more that I see mock drafts putting other corners being taken before we are even in shouting distance of a pick, the more attractive Dowling becomes), but if that's not possible, certainly a tackle. If we take a nose guard, I will think that the front office had an aneurism. Snack is NOT an injury risk, thus we should be safe for the remainder of his contract. These are, however, my own opinions, so I was thinking I should see what kind of feedback you wonderful folks had.
