Despite our dire secondary tonight, despite the QB's decision making and execution in the first half, despite Polamalu having 1 leg for the second half of the season, despite a patchwork beatenup O Line, despite a crazy decision not to run for 3rd and 2 before going for a bizarre 52-yd field goal (WHY?) and DESPITE 3 TURNOVERS - we still had a shot at a win! Mendenhall's fumble was the killer - the Packers offense was falling apart by the end of the 3rd quarter. They were on the ropes. But the 3rd T/O saved them. Even at the death, without Keyaron Fox's dumb penalty on the K/O return we might have had a decent shot at the end zone.
Better team won on the night - no question - but compare that to the defeat this season to the Patriots! No comparison.
Despite this I see ESPN/CBS/SI/FOX/NFL have now annointed the Packers as the new Dynasty and Brady/Manning/Brees etc should just fade into retirement because the son of god has appeared on earth again.
Give me a break
