Sorry for the corny name for the title of this. I am a new person here, though i have been reading posts on this website for a while. Tonight was the spark that made me decide to finally get an account on here though. I first off love seeing how Steeler fans all take losing. Sure a few of us go nuts, but for the most part we take it pretty well. However, I would just like to take a moment to say how much I appreciate this team for one reason, we really shouldnt have been here. No football team should ever lose their starting qb for 4 games, lose both starting tackles and the best defensive lineman, and have the qb that returned from the 4 game suspention seem to have some new injury every week. This is one of the toughest teams i have ever seen. Tomlin will recieve blame, but he has held this team together amazingly.

Now for the negative. I wouldnt be suprised to see the steelers be bigger in free agency than normal. Probably nothing huge, yet i expect a corner or two to be signed. Of course signing our own guys will probably come first. ThIis draft will be interesting, if a good offensive lineman hits us in the first round it will be hard to resist, espeically if its mike pouncey. the idea of 2 pounceys playing together for a career is great. however, a good corner outside of ike could have made tonight a whole different game. i think corner is the biggest need. kugler seems to know how to get the best out of the lineman we have. our line should be a lot worse than it is considering the lack of pedigree we have. of course, we draft some crazy picks sometimes that end up being amazing, so i will be happy with whoever we get.

losing to the cheeseheads in the superbowl sucks, but ill take it over losing to the patriots any day.
