BTSC 2011 Community Mock Draft Pick No. 9 -- Dallas Cowboys Select Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska

I never heard from steelerintexas so I'm going to go ahead and make the Cowboys selection at No. 8 for him in the interest of keeping things moving. Next up: the Washington Redskins, represented by BTSC's trusty stat-man, John Stephens. - Michael Bean -

************

I'll pass on doing much of a write up, but the Cowboys almost certainly will try to stock up on defensive talent in this year's draft. Dallas could maybe look at one of this year's better pass rushing prospects, but I think they'd be more wise to take one of the few players that I feel is an absolute 'slam dunk' to contribute right away and for years to come. That would be Nebraska's incredibly athletic and versatile Prince Amukamara.

BTSC 2011 Community Mock Draft Picks:

Star-divide

  1. Carolina Panthers -- Cam Newton, QB, Auburn
  2. Denver Broncos -- Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama
  3. Buffalo Bills -- Von Miller, LB, Texas A&M
  4. Cincinnati Bengals -- Da'Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson
  5. Arizona Cardinals -- Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU
  6. Cleveland Browns -- 'The Snow Cone Machine' A.J. Green, WR, Georgia
  7. San Francisco 49ers -- Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri
  8. Tennessee Titans -- Nick Fairley, DT, Auburn

Newton 1st? God, I wish the Panthers would kill themselves for years like that.

Thank you Ned Colletti.

Damn

I was hoping he’d fall to me at 11.

NO NO NO

Could we wish he falls to 31?

Would be a great pick for the Cowboys

I don’t think they need another corner, but they would be stacked at the position with this pick.

Sorry you had to do the write up Michael, if this happens again, feel free to email me and let me do it. I may not do the best write ups, but I have time at my current job to do this (especially with the House going to recess).

Ugh

I despise the idea of the cryboys getting better. I want them, the bungholes, and the jets at the bottom of their divisions for 20 years.
