I believe I've heard that there can be no team to team player trades with the current status of the labor agreement.  Just thinking that this would cut down a good bit of the wheeling and dealing that happens on draft day with the trades.  Would be a serious shame if this is the case.  

Anyone know if trades involving players can be made on draft day as it stands now?

Some of the scenarios I'm seeing might make it tempting to trade down a couple spots into the top of the second round and pick at good value there.  Maybe bundle 1,4 for another teams 2,3.  Could end up with somthing like 2.5, 3.5 for 1.31, 4.31  perhaps?  I'm thinking that some of these teams that need a QB but don't pull the trigger in the first due to poor value might not mind jumping back up into the bottom of the first to get the pick of those second round guys.  QB is a need of probably 5 of the first 8 teams.
