i don't take sides in the lockout because it is impossible for me to tell who is right or wrong. with that said, the first court date is April 6th which i suspect means we will not have an initial decision before April 21st. if the owners lose, then they will go for a stay to keep the lockout in place while they appeal, this will probably take another month or two and we are already in july.

with all the acrimonius language out there and PR positioning, i will guess that after missing 4 games the players come back October 6th. by then the owners will know they are serious and the players will be complaining to the NFLPA about $. of course this is just a guess, but i base it on the nasty talk out there and the fact that the players want to see what they courts say. if you pick a date we can go back later and see if someone had real insight or luck  and could see thru all the BS.
