BTSC 2011 Community Mock Draft Pick No. 25 -- Seattle Seahawks Select Jake Locker, QB, Washington
The third QB comes off the board in our 2011 BTSC Community Mock Draft. And it's local kid Jake Locker, a guy I got to watch plenty the last few years living up here in Seattle. I have mixed feelings about Locker, but I must say, there were times when he certainly impressed me. Thanks to LilD for the selection even if there was no accompanying write up. Next up: the beloved Baltimore Ravens, represented by the recently gainfully employed, Josh Roberts. - Michael B. -

I'm not sold on him
he had flashes of brilliance, but also had moments where suck doesn’t even begin to describe how bad he was.
Players who should be in the Hall of Fame: Pat TIllman, Dwight White, Donnie Shell, L.C. Greenwood, Ray Guy, Steve Tasker, Jack Butler, Greg Llyod, Andy Russel, Cris Carter, Kevin Greene, Curtis Martin, Willie Roaf, Andre Reed and Jerry Kramer

I dont think Carroll takes a risk on him
I think Carroll is more likely to wait for a better prospect in the second round who doesn’t come with so much risk. He bought himself a couple years of mediocre football while looking for a QB after taking this team to the second round of the playoffs.

scary
if he would have came out last year there is a decent chance the rams would have taken him at number 1.

Interesting mock so far
Wonder who will be chosen for the Ravens. Hopefully it is Sherrod, Wilkerson, Torrey Smith or Jon Baldwin. If it is Brandon Harris or Aaron Williams, I may never come back to this blog.
Real G's move in silence like lasagna
Promise? :)
I knew I should have signed up or the Ravens, I would hold MaLoR’s fate in my hands.
I have not yet begun to procrastinate.

Yes, promise. Ozzie doesn’t take 2nd round talent in the first. (insert ignorant Flacco comment now)
Real G's move in silence like lasagna
Ignorent Flacco comment, followed closely by accurate Boller comment.

Comm Draft v. Actual Drafts... Will Steelers have the chance to get a top CB?
Since 2002 the number of CB taken in the first round are ’02 (4) ’03 (5) ’04 (4) ’05 (5) ’06(4) ’07 (3) ’08 (5) ’09 (2) ’10 (6). Notice a pattern the number usually alternates between 4 and 5 CBs taken in the first. (2010 includes Earl Thomas who was a CB at Texas) Attribute this to this year and that mean the Steelers should have a good look at either Brandon Harris or Aaron Williams at 31. If Harris is there they take him if, Williams they evaluate the other position and take the highest rated for there need (DT, DE, OT, CB)
