Terry Bradshaw in an interview with Foxsports.com this week stated that he is feeling the effects of at least six different concussions he suffered while playing for the Steelers . Terry stated , hes having problems with his hand eye coordination as well as attention span and some memory loss . He also stated that the league needs to do more for the current players , so that they dont end up like his former Hall of Fame center Mike Webster did . Webster ended up with severe cases of dementia before he passed away , due to repeated head trauma while playing for the Steelers . I for one agree with Terry . The players from the sixties and seventies did'nt have access to the equipment that NFL players have today . Players from those eras routinely suffered concussions every week , only to be told , he just got his bell rung , he'll be ok . The very next week that same player was out on the field again . Those exact same bell rings would sideline you at least two weeks possibly longer in 2011 . The league needs to continue to give support to the players from those eras so they dont end up like Webster did , suffering from severe dementia and dieing in your fifties . Those players paid the ultimate price and now thirty years later they are broken down physically and mentally , some to the point of not even knowing they're own family members . Its a tragic ending that no player or his family should have to grow through .
