The Steelers selection of Cameron Heyward makes all the sense in the world as far as upgrading what is an aging defensive line . All three starters are in their mid thirties and their best days are probably behind them . With that being said , the cornerback position was a much more immediate need . That is not to take anything away from Heyward who looks to be a star going forward , but unless he can line up at corner back the Steelers are going to suffer sooner than later . In addition , if the team loses Ike Taylor which right now doesnt look good , our opening day starters are Mcfadden and William Gay . These two players were picked on all season last year and even more so in the Super Bowl . Bottom line , their good run supporters but they cant cover . Aaron Rogers holding the Vince Lomardi trophy more than proved that . Only time will tell , but as good as Cameron Heyward is , I simply dont understand the pick .
