For all the hopefuls wishing for a speedy end to the NFL lockout , dont look for it any time soon , this according to ESPN NFL analyst Adam Schefter . On todays edition of Mike & Mike , the topic of conversation was todays court appearance for the owners and players to tell their sides of the story and whether or not the judge will put an end to the owners lockout . When asked what his honest opinion was on what its going to take to get the owners and players back to the bargaining table , Schefter responded , the start of the season . Its going to take , the owners and players missing games as well as paychecks for some one to stand up and say enough , we have to settle this now . With that being said , he said this will probably linger well into the summer and probably the start of the regular season . Its not great news by any means , but we pretty much expected it anyway .
