Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

i got this from profootballtalk. they ranked the packers the #1 sports franchise in america. i obviously disagree with that but i can understand it. what i don't understand is how they ranked the saints higher than the steelers.

This is the most awesome thing I have ever seen
At the opposite end of the spectrum, the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals (#122) and Washington Redskins (#121), were the two lowest-ranked teams in the Ultimate Standings, ranking lower than the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs (#120), the NBA’s Sacramento Kings (#119) and Minnesota Timberwolves (#118), Major League Baseball’s New York Mets (#117), the NBA’s Toronto Raptors (#116), the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers (#115) and New York Islanders (#114), and the NBA’s Detroit Pistons (#113).

Should go post this on the Bungle Jungle.

"SteelFever gets #93. Just like Ron Artest. Great game just keep an eye on him that he doesn't go into the stands after a fan."

They front paged it themselves.
As much as I hate to say it, this really isn’t surprising. Along with the depressing history this team has since Mike Brown took over as the team’s President, this organization makes every effort to alienate fans, thinking of us as nothing more than pawns to the family’s economic security. Having a business and making money is one thing. But can you say that the team (including the players) will go out of its way for you, the fans?

No

The Saints were number one overall last year.

I think the Steelers should be higher too, of their own qualifications, I think the only thing that could hurt is the bad publicity some players have had recently. Other than that, I’m not sure if the Steelers would rank second to any football teams in many of those categories.

i just can't believe it

the saints were the same organization that it took hurricane katrina to keep them from leaving new orleans.

they’re also the same organization that left 300 season ticket holders out in the cold so they could build more luxury boxes.

seems like they’re just being picked because they won a super bowl recently.

I'm not familiar at all with New Orleans, the city, organization, or fans.

I’ve never been there, and never personally met a single Saints fan, ever.

We had a few of their fans hanging around here recently, I hope one can chime in, because I’m completely in the dark on how things geaux on the Bayou.

Who's laughing now, O Line??? Ben Roethlisberger (from the Podium) to his O-Line and the world in Superbowl XLIII

This whole article consists mostly of teams that have won a championship recently

You mean to tell me that there are no franchises that provide a good experience for fans and are average on the field?

Cleveland Cavaliers fan - um yeah, about that...

The word "mostly" is in there if you didn't see it.

i agree with you

winning a championship in the past 3 or so years doesn’t have a lot to do with defining how good of an north american franchise you are.

winning one in the past 5-10 years is just as good.
