Because, I’m not sure all of it supports his arguement.
Harrison is still wrong even if you give him that Manning is clearly better than Ben
Manning signed his latest contract in 2004, 4 years earlier than Ben signed his. It was worth $99.2M over 7 years. Ben’s contract is $102 over eight years. Even though Ben’s contract is inflated by the fact that it was created four years after Manning’s, the amount per year is still lower. Had the two contracts been made in the same year, there would be no comparison.
