Since the owners read and signed off on the new collective bargaining agreement last Thursday , the players and union reps have done nothing . The league has already lost the Hall of Fame game and now if this drags into the latter stages of next week were in all likely hood going to lose the first week of the preseason . Its mindboggling how the NFLPA can say they didnt have the document to vote on Thursday and now here we are on Saturday and we still have no agreement from the players . This is the same document you and the owners have been working on for the last five months . How can you say , you dont know whats in it ? You negotiated this , agreed to put it to a vote and the owners did they're part . Now you claim , youre being hoodwinked by the owners ? If the players continue to drag they're feet on this much longer , the fans all across the country are going to lose patience quickly . Its just a matter of time .
