Former Steelers GM Tom Donahoe Talks About Tough Choices Steelers Facing in Free Agency
I had been wondering recently what Tom Donahoe has been up to since last serving as the general manager of the Pittsburgh Steelers over a decade ago. I had forgotten that he endured a miserable experience in Buffalo dealing with Ralph Wilson's vacillation and inability to cede control of much of anything. Donahoe was fired prior to the start of the 2006 season, and I suppose he hasn't felt inclined to lobby for another gig since then, though perhaps he hasn't been approached. Anyway, Donahoe was on The Fan this morning to talk about the rash of critical decisions facing Kevin Colbert and the Steelers front office as they try to negotiate free agency and get under this year's salary cap of $120 million.
