And U2, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and the Bruce and E Street Band are not options. Oh i think i probably should have added  Dave Matthews Band to the list, oh well you can write-in a ballot for those not listed. But i doubt the NFL is going to let the same performer in twice so we have to go with those that have never done it. Neil Diamond  and J-Lo might be other options too but i couldn't remember everyone. Others I thought about like Alicia Keyes and Rihanna but I am not sure about Alicia b/c she is usually at the piano and Rihanna may not be big enough on her own to carry it. My list is made up of big names who are currently popular and/or icons who have never done the SB halftime show.

It's hard to get a good performer who can appeal to such a wide audience, it often helps if they are great dancers because that helps move the show along.  

This is purely for fun b/c it looks like the lockout is going to be settled no earlier than july 15th (and this is if we are lucky) plus they have to write the contracts and get them signed which means a signed deal is unlikely now before late july or early august.
