Chris Carr Re-Signs With Ravens
So much for the possibility of Chris Carr joining the Pittsburgh Steelers secondary. Of course, when Ike Taylor re-signed, there was no longer the pressing need to make a play for one of the prized CBs on the market. I know that rivalries more to fans than they do to the players, but you also don't see players swapping teams in the division that frequently, and in the case of the Ravens, I can't think of many instances where players have swapped sides in the rivalry either in free agency or by trade. Carr inked a four-year deal, though the financials have not yet been disclosed I don't believe. Carr has been overlooked as one of the better corners in the division, so congrats to him for getting his due at just the right time in his career. The last big order of business for Baltimore is re-signing Haloti Ngata. I will not at all be upset to hear that they were unable to come at an agreement and that we've seen the last of the beastly DT in purple.
