Where's the video of Ray Rice pulling hair

Really manly move there

I think it is right after Troy threw punches at Leach. And hey, the hair is part of the jersey. Don’t like it? Cut that shit off then.

When did Troy throw punches? I watched the video a few times. I don’t see that.

Also, hair is part of the jersey when you are playing football. When you are in a fight pulling hair is not something a male does.

Or

Should I complain that he wasn’t looking and that we can now safely conclude that Johnson is a dirty player for making a tackle in football?

johnson is the dirtiest player in the league

according to a certain fanbase’s logic. One block on someone looking the other way and you are marked for life.

by indianasteelers on Sep 12, 2011 12:59 PM EDT up reply actions

I would love if you considered him a dirty player, actually I would be honored. And it was a block, not a tackle. Want Hines is known for doing is hitting people in illegal ways away from the ball.

JJ was taking on the block Ward was doing, behind the line of scrimmage, so he could have lowered his shoulder into Wards teeth and it would have been perfectly legal.

God I love clean football plays! Don’t you?!?

We will have to agree to disagree i guess...

dont see how thats any cleaner than Hines blocking the crap out of Homeless Ed.

by indianasteelers on Sep 12, 2011 2:06 PM EDT up reply actions

just to clarify

i do realize that the majority of the hits on Hines were clean yesterday, just took issue with the Johnson hit.

Whatever. Hines got laid out finally like he deserved. Let’s move past it…….after I watch the video about 30 more times.

whatever.

we could do this all day, Hines is a dirty player. He deserved a blind hit, and the Ravens won their SuperBowl.

You know, Ward has been in the league, for what, 14 years? You’d think, with all these dirty hits you talk about, that he’d have more fines and PIs against him. Or, it is just typical whiny bullshit from you when you can’t handle the fact that our WR blows up your LBs.

Like who, Bart Scott? Wow, I am hurt. All I remember now is Hines laying face first in rubber pellets over and over and over again.

Hines was not the only one of our WRs that can throw a good block...

I seem to remember a certain Limas Sweed almost knocking out Corey Ivy in the last AFC Championship game where we kicked your ass! And he was our least talented WR. Win something that means something and then you can talk! All your team won was a regular season game…and I think JJ outweighs Hines but a good 100 lbs. Hines can take out people twice his size when he blocks but they can blindside him easily though. It was a retaliation block, which makes it all the dirtier.

Who's laughing now, O Line??? Ben Roethlisberger (from the Podium) to his O-Line and the world in Superbowl XLIII

by SteeladyinVA on Sep 12, 2011 10:01 PM EDT up reply actions

whoa whoa whoa Malor

what Hines does is completely legal. His famous hits on Reed and Rivers were both legal (at the time) so don’t claim that Hines makes illegal hits. That is completely wrong.

by shleeve on Sep 12, 2011 11:43 PM EDT up reply actions

Ummmm

Much more interesting when it’s a 210 pound receiver doing that to a 250+ pound defensive player….

by slaken on Sep 12, 2011 12:38 PM EDT reply actions

Naaaahhhh it’s still pretty interesting. But go ahead and enjoy Ward doing those things to Willis and Scott. They ain’t with this team anymore, so I could care less.

Either way, Ward got his ass eloped yesterday. Multiple times he was laying face first in the ground from hits from Ray, Webb and of course the dirtiest player in football…..Jarret JohnsOn

Relax, it's a long season.

In the NFL, you don’t intimidate anyone—period. No use posting videos of players getting drilled.

Your guys played a great game on Sunday and blew us away. So why start a discussion about whose kahunas are bigger? Every dog has his day. We got ours on Sunday and you’ll get yours again someday, believe me. That’s just the way it is in the NFL.

by Billy52 on Sep 12, 2011 9:25 PM EDT up reply actions

When you guys hit us, we get up a little woozy and shake it off

When we hit one of your guys, they typically have to be helped off the field and don’t recall any of the events that transpired after the were hit. Ward has delivered many of those.

And Jarrett Johnson sucks monkeyballs. I bet he and Matt Spaeth have the same rating on Madden.

No, JJ does not suck monkey balls. Actually, he is considered one of the better OLB in the league today, according to pro football focus (the most knowledgeable football website out there with how they break down each every detail of this sport).

http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2011/07/20/making-the-grade-4-3-outside-linebackers-2008-2010/

1. Jarret Johnson, Baltimore Ravens

Even though he’s top of this list, you wonder sometimes if Johnson is a little miscast in how the Ravens use him. A truly elite linebacker who is unmatched in run defense, Johnson has never (nor can you imagine him becoming) a player who puts the quarterback under consistent pressure. But, he’s a huge part of one of the greatest run defenses in the league, and has finished with our highest grade among 4-3 OLBs in run defense for two of the past three years.

Grade: +50.2

It may take a Steeler fan some time to figure out what the numbers they used mean, but with enough help and effort, you might just figure out that Jarrett is one of the best players on our team. Also keep in mind that he holds the Ravens record for consecutive games played at around 120 or something like that.

So, before you trash one of my team’s best player, get your shit together.

I know exactly how good he is against the run

He’s a pretty tough-nosed player who goes unnoticed often, basically your version of Keisel. I just was saying all that stuff so I could get a rise out of you, and it obviously worked.

If you read my posts from some of the other articles I haven’t talked trash about what happened Sunday or tried to downplay it at all. I’m actually kinda worried about us a little because of the complacency I saw from the team.

We have been gloating for the past few years too much, so you can have your one shining moment because you guys beat us Brock Lesner style. But it doesn’t mean I can’t still mess with your head.

PS, William Gay is better than Jarrett Johnson.

Haven’t you learned anything? You guys typically win the first matchup of the season, you troll the shit out of us, we win the next two matchups, you bitch and cry about us trolling your board. The cycle gets old. Piss off

Yep

Me too. I love watching the Raven fans eat their words, then whine and whine after they have to watch us keep playing in January.

by JonathanMoxon4 on Sep 13, 2011 12:35 AM EDT up reply actions

Wow man, what is so bad about this? If Ward had lit up Jarrett, it would be all over our board and you know it.

Trolling would have been rubbing it in your face with “HAHAHAHAHAHAHA YOU GUYZ SUCK!!!!” all over your board. I am simply bringing Steeler fans down to earth that Hines Ward isn’t the only one who can deck someone when they aren’t looking.

And you know damn well what some of the people on this blog are capable of when it comes to trolling our board after we lose to you, so settle down.

And no, we don’t typically win the first matchup…..against Ben. This game is historic in this matchup. 7 turnovers? 7 points? 35 by Baltimore? All the trash talking and dogging your players did this offseason about my team and especially my Quarterback? Sucks to have it thrown back at you doesn’t it?

funny how ward gets labeled dirty and yet when a d player blindsides someone it`s a great hit. didn`t see ward get up crying after that hit unlike your guys, heck they`re still crying years later. as for your comment last night " close game lol" i guess when you have lost 7 out of the last 10, haven`t beat ben since 06 and have been sent home 2 out of the last 3 years in the playoffs you have to get a nut somehow

Giving MaLoR his moment.... ok, done.

I wonder, since we’re showing fabulous hits that this rivalry is famous for… if we can happen upon one Ben Roethlisberger tackling Ed Reed post-INT. I seem to remember one self-appointed “best eva” trying to find his feet while Ben was trotting to the sidelines.

Anyway… you won this one and clearly were the better team yesterday.

HERE WE GO STEELERS!

My favorite part about this

is Ward probably got up and carried on, or maybe even cracked a smile after getting laid out. Hell, perhaps he even complimented Johnson on the hit.

Good hit by the Raven there, however if Hines was laying out Johnson I’m sure it would be considered dirty.

You have to admit, it was an epic shot on Ward. Players have dreamed about that opportunity for about a decade now…Johnson finally got him.

no such thing

as poor Hines ward.

A friend tells me that every time she takes the tube, there’s some poor flasher pulling it out of his pants and waving it at her, and she thinks: that’s the saddest form of entertainment I’ve ever seen. Now I know how she feels.
