Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only person watching the games. Everyone says we have bad CBs, they are taking a lot of heat from everyone everywhere. It wasn’t the WRs that beat us this past Sunday, it was the TEs and Ray Rice - those are the linebackers responsibilities. On Boldin's TD catch he got away with offensive PI. He gave McFadden a stiff arm to the chest to create the separation needed to make the grab. He was actually doing it all game, he least the refs called it once. Even J. Scott had a decent game; he only gave up 1 sack to Suggs.. The other 2 came from stunts and twists that Pouncey didn't pick up. The refs also missed a bunch of chop block calls (when a D-linemen is tied up with an O-linemen and another one chops low at the defender’s legs). Ben had 5 turnovers, but yet everyone is still throwing tomatoes at the secondary and the O-tackles. The Ravens game was a complete team loss. Stop looking for scapegoats to blame. Our players and Coaches aren't making any excuses for why we laid an egg. Sometimes it happens. A great week of practice doesn't guarantee a win and a terrible week a practice doesn't guarantee a loss. Also don’t forget, the other team’s players get paid too. They also have Super Bowl aspirations. Tomlin said all week leading up to the game that he was uncomfortable with their line-up changes. He said "They know more about us they we do them" all week long. Did anyone foresee Dickson and Pitta looking like Gronkowski and Hernandez because I didn’t. I didn’t think an overweight McKinnie would play as well as he did, although he was sucking wind in the huddles. Look for our team to bounce back against the SeaHACKS this week, and then a Manning-less Colts the week after. While these games won’t be freebees, They are nowhere near as good as the Ravens.
