Nah, I don't hate it this time, but I just gotta say that I called it, I called the Ravens letdown against he Titans.
They came out flat after an amotional win over the Steelers, and the highly touted offense went nowhere, while the D could not stop Hasselbeck in he 2nd half. Whatever it is, emotional deflation, dark jerseys in the heat (I called it too, BTW), whatever - they are 1-1 just as the Steelers now.
I had my suspicions that the Ravens spent the training camp and the preseason preparing for the Steelers, but not for the season, as it turns out. The Ravens are too good of a team to let it affect the entire season. If the Bengals lose at Denver, the entire division will be 1-1, so it should be an intesting season in AFC North.
On the Steelers, two thoughts: we got a convincing win, and Ben is OK. That sure looked scary, I have seen (and, actually, experienced) too many of knee twists like that one that ended with ligaments damage. All in all, a very good, very well-rounded win with utter domination in all three phases of the game. I would like to see a more consistent running up the middle, but hey, one thing at a time.
Next week - Indy, which is supposed to be a very winnable game. We shouldn't overlook it, though.
