Seattle's Raheem Brock was fined $15,000 for his low hit on Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger in Week 2, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Thursday morning.
Brock came in low, possibly off of a block, hitting Roethlisberger in the right leg at a very awkward angle. Brock received a 15 yard penalty on the play.
The hit left Roethlisberger lying on the field in pain. He was replaced for two plays by Charlie Batch, and came in to finish the drive, which resulted in a field goal.
He was still productive after the hit, and finished the game 22-for-30 with 298 yards and a touchdown pass to WR Mike Wallace.
Roethlisberger isn't currently listed on the Steelers injury report as having missed any practice time this week. Official injury status isn't required to be updated until Friday, but all reports indicate Roethlisberger will play when the Steelers face Indianapolis Sunday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.
No other word has been released on any other injured players that may miss time Sunday.
