LB Mortty Ivy Signed To Steelers Practice Squad

The Steelers have signed LB Mortty Ivy to their practice squad, reports Ed Bouchette.

Mark Kaboly of the Tribune-Review said Ivy was at the facility, along with OL John Malecki - an indication he, too, will be signed to the Practice Squad.

Ivy was impressive during camp, most notably for his hit on RB Baron Batch in the goal line drills. Ivy was undrafted in 2009, and signed on with Carolina's practice squad. He was elevated to the 53-man roster that year, but did not see any action.

He spent time with Miami and St. Louis's practice squads in 2010.
