Will Manning Play Against the Steelers?
The Colts start with Houston, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. It's looking like Manning will miss the Houston game, which, as a divisional game, is the most important of the three. If he sits out the Houston game, will the Colts try to get him into the Cleveland and/or Pittsburgh games? Even if he is 90% in week 3, it seems unwise to bring him back for his first game against what is arguably the league's best pass rush.

Maybe Manning will miss the season
and the Colts will finish last and draft Luck!
j/k
I still think it is going to be the Bengals or Panthers.

As long as he does not play week 3
I will be happy. Let him be ready to play the Ravens and kick their ass.

I would have to agree
That it wouldn’t seem wise to start him against the Steelers any less than 100%. How well can we expect Collins to play in his absence? He played pretty well against us at times while with the Titans. But will he be up to speed in this offense? Reggie Wayne doesn’t think so…

He won't play week 3.
If the doctors are telling him not to practice right now.he must be having pain when he is throwing the ball and running around..imagine if he gets hit…I would guess he’ll be out a long time!
Even if he does
He’ll be very rusty. Remember how bad he was early in 2008 when he came back from his inflamed bursa sac in Week 1? The Colts started 3-4 and should have been 2-5.

I'm torn....
I’m going to the Indy game so I wouldn’t mind seeing him play – especially if we get the better of him – but I also realize they stand more of a chance of beating us if he plays!
