Both coaches are undefeated on opening weekend
Something has to give
"He had no teeth, and he was slobbering all over himself. I'm thinking, 'You can have your money back, just get me out of here. Let me go be an accountant." I can't tell you how badly I wanted out of there."
- Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
no one will be happy with that
"Canada is a great country, one of the hopes of the world. We can be a better one – a country of greater equality, justice, and opportunity." Jack Layton (R.I.P.)
"My city's still breathing (but barely it's true) through buildings gone missing like teeth. The sidewalks are watching me think about you, all sparkled with broken glass. I'm back with scars to show. Back with the streets I know. They never take me anywhere but here. " John K Samson (Left and Leaving)

Very excited about this as an opening day game
Unfortunately, won’t be able to watch it, since I’m about 30 days out from finishing the Pacific Crest Trail hike I’m on. About 950 miles to Canada, then I’m home! Carrying my Terrible Towel all the way from Mexico to Canada!
I'll be hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from May, 2011 to Sept., 2011, to raise money for charity. For more info, please visit: http://thf2.wordpress.com

Wait…the fact I’m doing it, or the fact I’m toting a Terrible Towel every step?? :)
Appreciate the love.

James Harrison became 1st Steeler to post double-digit sacks in 3 consecutive seasons (16 in ’08; 10 in ’09; 10.5 in ’10).
And Lamarr Woodley was close behind too. On that note, you gotta love Lamarr Woodley, he always brings his absolute best to the crucial games, especially the Ravens. Hope he destroys Michael Oher on Sunday!

he was not close behind.
the statement below is NOT correct
James Harrison became 1st Steeler to post double-digit sacks in 3 consecutive seasons (16 in ’08; 10 in ’09; 10.5 in ’10).
it should read as follows:
James Harrison and Lamarr Woodley became 1st Steelers to post double-digit sacks in 3 consecutive seasons (Harrison: 16 in ’08; 10 in ’09; 10.5 in ’10 and Woodley: 11.5 in ’08; 13.5 in ’09; 10 in ’10).

I can't wait for the season to start
I’m started to get excited here.
i do wish Lamarr and Casey would leave the smack talking to the ratbirds…but as long as they back it up, it will all be ok..
Ravens
The only thing that worries me about the Ravrns is.
How much success will Rice / Williams have running behind a FB at critical times. especially when they want to use up the clock or short yardage?
The more I learn -The less I think I know! Just enjoy reading and sharing.

"In football, there are football players and there are footballs. A lot of times in football, a football player will be running with a football, and a lot of times, he carries the football into the end zone. Now, when a football player running with a football takes that football into the end zone, boom! It's a touchdown." - Anthony DeFeo

Anyone want to challenge him for it?
