The Steelers didn't catch any luck from Cincinnati yesterday, but maybe they can in a few weeks. I am hoping the Bengals and Steelers both win next weekend so Pittsburgh can take on Baltimore in the divisional round. They beat us twice, and I do not want to avoid them, I want them right away. Here are my predictions for the 2011-12 NFL Playoffs.
Wild Card Weekend:
Cincinnati @ Houston, Saturday, January 7, 4:30pm
Detroit @ New Orleans, Saturday, January 7, 8:00pm
Atlanta @ New York Giants, Sunday, January 8, 1:00pm
Pittsburgh @ Denver, Sunday, January 8, 4:30pm
Divisional Round:
New Orleans @ San Fran, Saturday, January 14, 4:30pm
Cincinnati @ New England, Saturday, January 14, 8:00pm
Pittsburgh @ Baltimore, Sunday, January 15, 1:00pm
Atlanta @ Green Bay, Sunday, January 15, 4:30pm
Championship Weekend:
New Orleans @ Green Bay, Sunday January 22
Pittsburgh @ New England, Sunday January 22
Super Bowl
New Orleans @ New England, Sunday, February 5
Sorry, as much as I want to be a homer and predict the Steelers win the Super Bowl, I just can't see them going into Gillette and beating Brady. Even if they did, they would have their hands full with New Orleans or Green Bay. I'll still be cheering loudly for them, and I hope I am wrong. Maybe, if the Bengals win this weekend, they can go into New England and give them hell. Nothing wrong with a Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh AFC Championship game. :)
