Hey Steelers fans, Bronco Mike here a member of Mile High Report. I'm here to answer any questions you might have about the upcoming matchup between our teams. First off, congratulations for making it to the tournament! I think in any other year 12-4 should be good enough to win the division, but it's really saying something when 3 out of the 4 teams in your division made the playoffs.
As for the Broncos, we didn't finish the season well (3 straight losses) and our QB Tim Tebow has gone from a guy who can make plays and takes care of the ball to the complete opposite in the last two games. Speaking of Tebow, one request I have. If you have a question about him no problem, just keep it football related and please don't mock religion. Even though our team "backed in" we are the AFC West Champs and us Bronco fans are extremely excited to be in this position. Going from 4-12 last year and the #2 pick in the draft, starting 1-4 this year, enduring a coaching and QB change, it's nothing short of a great accomplishment to be in the position we are now. Something we are all proud of on MHR is way our team rallied around each other and played as a TEAM.
Anyway folks, those are predominately our thoughts and feelings going into Sunday. Just a few questions from me to startoff:
1) How did Big Ben look yesterday coming off of his ankle injury, did he still play like he was hurting? Was he able to scramble around at all?
2) I know that all bets are off in divisional games---they can be close and low scoring no matter the level of the teams, but does it concern you guys that the offense didn't put up many points against Cleveland? Is that a trend you guys saw often during the season?
3) How do you think the Steelers offense will attack our Broncos defense?
4) What things do you expect your defense to do in order to contain our running game?
Okay folks, lets get the comments going, and remember to rec so this stays near the top during the week!
