Suck it Harabaugh Bros !

The classless brothers are kicked out and got what they deserved. Ravens thought they are elite with Joe Chocko. He was not bad but could not finish like brady who took shots and found the end zone. The Ray & Ray talked too much and the thuggs 'sizzled' too much. It was not cundiff who lost the match it is the offense and the ground game produced 70 odd yards. Elite ????. Joe is next Ben ???... Come on man.

49ers got lucky with Steelers (A mobile Ben would have beaten them). They were in a weak division to get the 2nd seed. Saints game - Even Seahawks beaten them last year. BUT THEY PLAYED BETTER THAN RAVENS for sure.

Sounds like gloating ?. Yeah i needed this after the game against Denver :-)

I dont remember Brady finding the endzone. Flacco outplayed Brady for most of the game, until his killer 4th quarter interception

Flacco still outplayed Brady

Tommy threw another INT right after Flacco’s, and the pass to Evans was perfect.

very true, just like the one he threw to beat the steelers at the end of the second game.

Flacco, no doubt outplayed Brady. Brady even admitted he played a terrible game. Trash talk all you want, Flacco is proving to be a very good qb and this isnt going to change them being right along side of us all season again next season.

by lamberts58 on Jan 23, 2012 3:07 AM EST up reply actions

To be Fair

even though I don’t want to be, those INTs Brady threw were not bad throws. They both were great plays by the BALT D. The first might have been a tad under thrown, but that second one was entirely BALT. That was just a great play.

But you keep pulling out your "refs-threw-the-game" card if that’s what you need for catharsis. You can use that card after every loss. It is a lifetime pass. Get it laminated. -Maryrose

If a QB gets the credit for a scoring drive...

…if the WR makes a miraculous circus catch…then they get the blame of the WR doesn’t hold onto the ball in the end zone.

Flacco’s numbers were better than Brady’s; frankly, they were far better than I thought they would be. Flacco is a very good QB, but until he and the Ravens actually win a Super Bowl (that is played in February), the achillies heel of Flacco’s mental state will be his “Average Joe, can’t win when he has to” moniker.

Savory, fulfilling, these Ravens tears.

Considering the defenses

I’m not all that surprised Flacco “outplayed” Brady. NE = 31st ranked defense. BAL = 3rd.

I agree, I am not surprised it went the way it did

Its more so that everyone thought Flacco would be horrible even against the 31st ranked D.

I agree...

Flacco is a good QB. The only knock(which is really nit picking) is the the Pat defense sucks. Other than that, Ravens should have won the game.. No need to gloat, we were home watching the game!

Memories of November . . .

In case you feel badly about gloating over a rival team’s heart-breaking loss, I don’t recall coach Harbaugh feeling all broken up about quoting Teddy Roosevelt and really going a bit over-the-top. Here’s a few reminders.

HARBAUGH – EXCERPT 1 (Did he say anything about putting on tape recorders yesterday?)
Harbaugh started by bellowing at the podium: “Put those tape recorders up here. We got a big win to talk about.”

HARBAUGH – EXCERPT 2 (he could probably say yesterday the game was for Ravens fans who “fell off their couch”)
Then Harbaugh dedicated the game to the Ravens fans who “jumped . . . off . . . their . . . couch” when Flacco found Smith.

SUGGS QUOTE (my favorite)
“It’s a big accomplishment,” Suggs said. “But in my eyes, to be honest with you, they’re the defending AFC champions. They’re the team to beat. One of two things could happen. We could be the same team from last year, or we could show how we grew
up.”

I guess they’re the same team. And yeah, Flacco outplayed Brady, but placed into proper context, I wonder how Brady would play against the NE defense and Flacco matched up against the Ravens defense. Just sayin’ but Flacco did step up (much as it pains me to say it). Unfortunately for Flacco, it’s always a week-to-week thing (see previous week’s Texans game).

why would he? Harbaugh only got the gatorade shower when the ravens beat the steelers the second time and when ravens won in harbaugh bowl both games represented something special atleast to the players point of view but really it doesn’t matter because those games were so long ago and I find it crazy that steelers fans keep mentioning it.

But the fact that ravens fans can’t understand this is a direct correlation to the fact they haven’t won a super bowl in so long. NOTHING ELSE IS WORTHY OF GATORADE DUMPING!!!! The mere fact that you did that in the regular season shows the satisfaction and loss of focus. Too quick to celebrate, thats why the ball was dropped, literally in the endzone by the WR, he was already turning to celebrate.

For me...

It goes back to when Harbaugh was giving a tv interview before a Steelers/Ravens game and he was asked about Harrison receiving fines, etc… Harbaugh said his guys have it figured out and couldn’t understand why the Steelers linebackers were so slow at learning how to tackle the correct way. Then Ngata broke Roethlisberger’s nose and McClain gives Heath a concussion. I didn’t like Harbaugh before but after that I couldn’t stand him.

It was nice to see the Ravens lose, I admit. After all the whining that if they could only beat the Steelers they’d be in the promised land. The only thing better would have been if the Steelers would’ve pulled off the division win after losing twice to the Ravens.

Not so surprisingly, I found the sign gone when I returned from lunch. LOL!

I heard

Lee Evans worked out with Limas Sweed last offseason. He wanted to drop a few pounds. He was going to workout with Fitzgerald but the opportunity slipped through his hands. In other news Butterfinger wants him to do a commercial with Bart Simpson. His only line is DOH!.

Billy Cundiff was going to the Jets but it’s illegal to make a left turn in New Jersey, so that took a left turn. I know….Two wrongs don’t make a right, neither dows Billy.
