Thank you Chris
You were a great backup and played hard. I wish you could have had your Keisel season, where you became a star, but thank you for helping bring rings to the Burgh.

And so it begins...
…We’ll miss you Hoke, not only your skills, but the depth you bring to the team, and the quiet leadership you embody.
Good luck, and best wishes.

The thanks of a grateful Steeler Nation go to our beloved Hokey.....
….on and off the field, he was a high quality guy you could always depend on.
Though a backup, he had an amazing record as a starter.
When Coach Tomlin said the standard is the standard, Chris Hoke is the first thing that comes to my mind.
Good luck, best wishes, and thanks for everything.

Hokie is one of those guys that epitomizes what it means to be a Pittsburgh Steeler. A grateful Steeler Nation bids you farewell!
HERE WE GO STEELERS!
"Our Father, who art in Pittsburgh, Football be thy game. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, at Heinz Field as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, a stellar D and forgive us our bogus fines, as we (sorta) forgive Goodell who trespasses against us. And lead us not into defeat, but deliver us a Victory. For thine is The Steelers, the power and glory of climbing the STAIRWAY TO 7."

"My mentality is singular in that I want to be world champs each and every year, so that's what we work toward. I have a tough time acknowledging levels of success short of that. That's just how I'm wired." - Mike Tomlin
