NEXT PAGE FOR OUR STEELERS

No time to cry

Star-divide

I like to write a Post after Steelers' season finale, I thought it was going to be on February 6th with a SB victory.

For bad luck this happened yesterday with a Broncos' victory that in paper did not have a better team that our Steelers and looked like in the end of the game Ben's magic was going to appear again but this is the NFL where any team can beat the other one any given Sunday.

In my point of view it was a good season for our team, there were injuries that affected both sides of the line and despite of it our team reached the Playoffs and for some moments during the season looked like the team to defeat in the American Conference

It was frustrated to see our team being defetead by a lesser but inspired Broncos team last night and guys that usually made a good job during the season disappearead yesterday like Ike Taylor that played a game to be forgotten but anyway we need to turn the page and look for the needs for the next season.

We know our team needs urgent help in the Offensive line getting people using the draft or Free agency because is painful seeing Ben's affected by to many hits every week, need fresh blood in the LB's corps in special for the middle of it (Farrior is almost in the end of his brilliant carrer and it will need someone to replace him) I think that Woorilds can be a good guy to in the outside due to the latest adquisitions that looked as promises were in the injured report almost every week and some new faces in the Corner's or at least that Lewis can develop quick.

I am proud of this team that showed heart during the whole season, Mike Tomlin that showed to be the glue to keep this team together or BA that did a job job fitting the best plan for every week.

So is time to turn to the next page and wait for a better 2012 season

Go Steelers

First who should go...

For me we have to get rid of Farrior, he has nothing left in the middle of the field either against the run or pass. I watched the play yesterday with that 30 completion to the TE in the first half and it was his man, instead of tracking him he ran right across the field and the TE just turned in behind him and went deep, then it looks like Troy isn’t on point. Also one running play he ran right up McClennan’s back instead of into the hole to make the tackle.

Hines should see the writing on the wall, he can’t get open anymore, he would be a great WR coach immediately as he knows the young guns.

McFadden should be a no brainer, nothing left in his tank either, when he came into the Cleveland game he looked like he was on ice.

Aaron Smith, a great Steeler, but he can’t stay healthy either, three years in a row now if I am correct.

Sepulveda again always injured, great leg but can’t play a full year, the current punter is doing great, keep him and save some money.

Jonathan Scott is the worst OL man in football and it’s a disgrace to see him play.

Kemo his play has slipped way down, he is lucky he didn’t get called for a couple holds yesterday, that was a crew that let the Ol get away with a lot. The second long run be Redman he pulled and had a Denver player by the neck.

Chris Hoke, injured and we need to draft the back-up for Caey now, because he is almost done also.

We can’t let things go like we did with the Steelers of the ’70s, they all get old and then we have to replace an entire team. that made the late 80s and early 90s really painful.

we need his replacement ready, because that is the most important position in run stopping in the 3-4

amen

And now with the ACL / MCL injury and an reconstructive surgery, I dont see how he is going to recover. Most guys with these injuries that make a decent recovery really have to put the time in to recover from this injury. They arent 34 years old, and 350 pounds. Hampton doesnt condition, workout, or practice now, why should we think he is going to now. Problem is, are the steelers going to restructure or let him go. I doubt it, but hope so.

McClendon!

while he’s not as good as Hampton circa ‘04, he’s just as good as Hampton circa ’12…
